Soul Subjugation is the power of the royal families descended from underworld gods that live in Stygia. They cautiously guard this arcanoi and use it as a bargaining chip with the legions when public favor turns against them.

Plasm Command

Challenge: None Cost: None Duration: Five minutes

A wraith with this power can command the plasm that makes up the underworld, allowing them once per scene to recover a corpus level by spending 5 minutes in the underworld.

⚫⚫ Summon the Dead Spirit

Challenge: None Cost: 1 Pathos Duration: 5 minutes

Wraiths are the masters of the underworld, using this power and spending a pathos allows them to summon forth for a moment the spirit that used to inhabit a relic, the spirit will answer several questions about itself, and is more than willing to chat about itself for the duration of the power. Wraiths and spirits speak the same language, the universal language of the dead and the language of spirits is the same. Objects can be affected by this power once per scene.

Challenge: Socials(leadership) vs Diff(essence of spirit summoned) Cost: None Duration: One action

This power upgrades summon the dead spirit, commanding it to answer a question if it knows the answer it will answer honestly.

⚫⚫⚫⚫ Ashes of Creation

Challenge: Wraith lore vs diff(3) to recognize beginning of power. Cost: One pathos Duration: 5 turns

The ashes of the labyrinth bring all things closer to oblivion as they swirl to surround their target. By spending a pathos, the wraith brings the scene closer to that ultimate demise. Each turn that ends each character in the scene drops 1 realm closer to oblivion, with the descent ending in the labyrinth after 5 turns. Characters who attempt to flee the scene to escape this power may do so automatically when the power is activated, characters who choose to stay are lost in a part of the underworld according to the chart when the wraith chooses to end the power or dies.

  • 1 Turn after activation - Characters are deposited at the nearest shallowing.
  • 2 turns after activation - Characters are deposited at the nearest necropolis.
  • 3 turns after activation - Characters are deposited on the banks of the river of death.
  • 4 turns after activation - Characters are deposited at the mouth of the labyrinth.
  • 5 turns after activation - Characters are deposited at a random location in the labyrinth.

Challenge: None Cost: One pathos to traverse to the middle umbra Duration: One Day and One night

A shard of the primordial Oblivion has entered the wraith with this power, weakening the barrier between shadow and psyche and inducing them to become something more. By spending a pathos, you may traverse into the middle umbra or one of the hells for the scene as a death-aspect spirit. All arcanoi cost double pathos in the middle umbra, the dead do not linger in the middle umbra. If you leave the middle umbra you do so as a materialized wraith not a spirit. Finally you gain the following benefits while in the middle umbra.

  • For the purpose of interacting with spirits you are considered to have an age and essence equal to 2x your circle and have access to both trees of death invocations up to your circle x2.
  • While in another plane you bear the mark of oblivion and will not be accosted unless you initiate a challenge against another spirit.
