Silent Striders: Seeking Seeking

Description: Owl has taught her children to how to traverse the Umbra and learn it secrets. Banished from their homeland of Eygpt by the servants of the Wyrm the Striders have wandered the wilds and the Umbra becoming masters of open road. From the Umbra the Striders can attack from anywhere without warning and disappear in an instant.

Name: Death Sight

Level: Basic

Cost: 1 Gnosis

Duration: Scene

Flavor: The eye of the Strider can pierce the dark and see even the dead that haunt the land.

Effect: The Garou's eyes go pitch black allowing them to see in the dark (reducing blindness penalties by one) and allowing them to see ghosts. you can also speak to wraiths.

Name: Breach the Umbra

(Escape)

Level: Advanced

Cost: 1 Gnosis

Duration: Instant

Flavor: The Strider know the that the Umbra had many doors. With a step they can walk through those doors to enter the Umbral realms from anywhere

Effect: The garou can spend a gnosis to instantly enter the Umbra, no check is required. They must wait 5 minutes before returning. In addition the Strider may choose to enter the middle or Low umbra. This is an escape power and functions as such.

Level: Master

Cost: 1 Gnosis

Duration: Instant

Flavor: The Striders had wandered for generations. Elder Striders know to travel with their packs between the Caerns with ease. though their is danger in traversing the umbra with so many.

Effect: The Garou may spend a gnosis and concentrate for 5 minutes. At which point they are whisked away to any Caern within 100 miles. If they have visited the caern before and are going alone before then there is no check. The garou may bring passengers but each one increases the difficulty of the check by one, from a starting difficulty of 3. Going to a caern they have never been to requires a difficulty 5 survival check, that increases by one per passenger. Failure results in them being stuck in the umbra.
