Obeah Rituals

Req: Must have Obeah at level 4

Outer Realm Attunement:

This Ritual takes 30 minutes to cast, requires five blood, and involves the burning of incense, chanting, and meditation. The target’s body will lay lifeless as their astral form is shunted into an astral plane. The caster must make a Spirit Lore Check Difficulty 5 to successfully send the target to the intended plane. Once there they will be confronted by some sort of trial. This is extremely dangerous. Their Soul can become trapped in the spirit world. The damage will sometimes show up on their body if they are doing poorly. Salubri always comes back from the experience “changed” and not always for the better. The caster can attempt to pull the target's astral form back at any time with a Diff 5 Occult Check.

Salubri have been using this ritual not only for its intended purpose but also as a way to study the outer planes, and refine their understanding of the Golconda ritual.

Some Malkavians have begun trying to cast it on each other but the results have been uniformly poor unless the subject has Valeren.
