Face and Soul of the Monster

Nosferatu are hideous, but more than that, their appearance reminds them that they are not human. Even while in obfuscate 3, the Nos’s innate inhumanity shines through. They lose ties on all Social Challenges against the living (Humans, Ghouls, Mages, Garou.) This failure to connect with their humanity hurts the Nos more than most. Anytime they fail to influence a human or understand a human. They are subject to either a fear or anger frenzy. The type is always the same: they are either disgusted at themselves (Fear) or angry at the World (Anger.) The difficulty is 4. (If the Nos possesses Rugged Good looks, then the difficulty is three.)

The Unseen

Having this Flaw gives the Nosferatu access to the following Level 5 Obfuscate Disciplines. A Nosferatu with the above clan flaw may purchase these normally. All others can learn them, but only from a Nosferatu and with an additional 10 Exp (5 freebies) surcharge.

Above all else, the nosferatu are invisible. Other clans may learn Obfuscate; it may be considered a core 8, but make no mistake, it is owned and mastered by the Nosferatu. The Nos possess two unique level 5 Disciplines.

The Ultimate Observer

While in obfuscate, the Nosferatu may spend an action to deepen the mental compulsion to avoid them by expending a blood. For the remainder of the scene, The Nosferatu counts as having obfuscate 6 for the purposes of Auspex v Obfuscate. The Nos cannot combine this power with Cloak the gathering. Ending Obfuscate after activating this power costs willpower and a full round action, as the mental block they placed over their existence is so powerful that it is hard for the Nosferatu to remember that they exist. Nos who rely on this power too frequently can forget they are a creature at all, dooming themselves to wander the world invisibly until they eventually succumb to blood loss and torpor themselves. (Talk to staff if you activate more than 2x in a session.) If you cannot spend the Willpower to come out, you are inactive as a character. To be clear, the Nosferatu cannot interact with the world again until they spend the willpower and the full-round action. If something forces them out, they still have to take a full round to recover, and they lose willpower.

Mask of Your Face...Yes yours.

This power upgrades the Mask of 1000 faces. By touching another person's face, they can perfectly mimic the individual. If the individual has the ability to change their face or transform, the Nosferatu can do so, too, so long as they hold the form and spend blood on nothing but obfuscate powers. These transformations are purely aesthetic but hold up even to damage. Once dropped, the Nos must touch the target's face again.
