The Wendigo's of the north have protected the pure wilds of north America sense before the arrival of the Europeans. Wendigo's Guidance the Chill of winter fights to hold back the encroachment of the Wyrm.

Name: Wind Spirit Warning

Level: Basic

Cost: Permanent

Duration: Permanent

Flavor: The Wendigo are defenders of the pure lands of Nature. The safety of their territory comes first thus any intrusion by man must be known.

Effect: The Wendigo is so in tune with his domain that he is able to detect when an intruder makes her way within its borders. This Wendigo isn’t so focused as to identify and spotlight the location of the intruder, instead providing adequate forewarning in advance of a surprise. A common tactic upon sensing a visitor is to follow up by sending animal spies. When cast within the caster’s haven, the power creates an auditory or visual effect to alert the Wendigo that an intruder has entered. This signal could be anything the Garou desires — a bell ringing in another room or the door slamming shut behind the trespasser — but it is the same for the duration of the power (although the Wendigo can change the form the signal takes from casting to casting). Note that the Garou must actually be present within the building for the alarm to be effective, and the signal must be small and subtle. Gunshots do not count as small and subtle. The power lasts for one month once used.

Flavor: The icy claws of the Wendigo drain the strength of their enemies.

Effect: The Wendigo’s claw attacks also cause a target to lose a single physical trait with each successful attack. Aegis and Negation block this damage as well.

Level: Master

Cost: 1 Gnosis

Duration: Scene

Flavor: The Elder Wendigo know how to summon the wrath of winter to cause great destruction to the Wyrmbringers and drive back their taint.

Effect: Summons a powerful Blizzard across a city. Snow falls from the skies, Hail Crushes the ground and wind blows powerfully enough to create small twisters. Property damage is assured. All targets without Might or similar super strength must move in a random direction (dictated by the Story Teller) each turn. In addition the Windigo can spend an action to summon a flurry of hail from the sky to strike his target for (4L) each turn for no cost Mentals (Surival) vs Physicals (Athletics).
