The Assamites developed this path first as a series of rituals and then as a full fledged sorcery. The path is based on the long tradition of bonding rituals warriors have done with their prized weapons. In recent nights, knowledge of this path was stolen from the Assamites and has been seen popping up among the Tremere and the also in some sorcerous covenants. Its unknown how this knowledge was leaked but, Clan Assamite still holds that the path is their property and that knowing it is grounds for termination. Some have theorized that the path was given to the Camarilla by Al Ashrad when he fled with some of his clan mates into the faction, as a way of greasing the wheels with the Tremere.

Powers (Mental - Occult)

All powers must be declared during blood expenditure if used in combat.

⚫ Confer With Blade

Challenge: N/A Cost: One Blood Duration: Instant

The Kindred places his hand on a weapon and looks into its history and past experiences. The Kindred gets a description of the last wielder of the weapon and a vision of the last person the weapon killed. In addition the kindred learns the history of the weapon ( forging, age, etc.) The Player gains a permanent +1 trait bonus when using the weapon.

⚫⚫ Grasp of the Mountain

Challenge: N\A Cost: One Willpower, One Blood Duration: One night

The Kindred casts this over his blade and for the rest of the night he may call his weapon to his hand as a free action so long as it is in line of sight. This is a free action

⚫⚫⚫ Pierce Steel’s Skin

Challenge: N\A Cost: One Blood Duration: Hour or scene

After a successful strike with a melee weapon, the kindred may spend a blood to increase the damage of the strike by one. Useable in Celerity

⚫⚫⚫⚫ Razor Shield

Challenge: N\A Cost: One Blood Duration: Hour or scene

The Kindred enchants his blade again, making it supernaturally strong and quick. The Blade seeks projectiles, instinctively trying to block and intercept blows for its wielder. The Kindred may use his Melee skill retests in place of Defense when defending against ranged attacks. Can be activated in addition to celerity, does not require an action.

⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫ Strike at the True Flesh

Challenge: N\A Cost: One Willpower, One Blood ( one blood to upkeep) Duration: Scene

The Kindred knows that blades are made to kill. The kindred can spend a blood and a will. For the duration of the scene, the assamite can use their Occult retests as though they were melee retests for the purposes of attacking a target. The kindred must use either Occult of Melee on a specific challenge( can not combine.) This power can be activated in addition to Celerity, does not require an action. The Kindred need only spend the Willpower once but has to spend the blood every round to keep it up.
