Contradict - 1 gnosis- last a turn
You may interrupt a subject's thought processes, subverting and twisting his actions. When another character declares an action, you may say a few words to them asking them to reconsider. Make a Mentals (Subterfuge) vs Mentals (Willpower) Challenge. Should you succeed, the target may no longer use the Ability he was using. The subject must perform a different action using a different Ability, and has four seconds if in combat to decide what the new action is.

Subvert - 1 Gnosis, Subterfuge retest - last a scene
"Divide and conquer" may not be a very original tactic, but it's as effective today as it was centuries ago. Spend ten minutes in conversation with your target about a particular subject, and spend a Gnosis and Subterfuge retest. The target falls under the belief that the subject will betray them and is out to get them. You may designate additional subjects at the price of an extra Subterfuge retest per subject. Valid subjects include individuals only, not organization
